We have a manufacturing unit with 100% automation systems and fully air conditioned unit. Design Service Capability
A key component of all our solutions is our design/engineering capability. From developing custom adhesives that will stand the heat of a full-scale fire, to poly-domed acrylic nameplates for underwater equipment, Exco's full-time staff designers have had significant experience in every imaginable application for commercial and industrial graphics.
Exco's offering is that with design as an integrated part of our entire operation, we can ensure that the design of your product takes full advantage of all our manufacturing capabilities. Whether we're designing the piece for you, or you are providing artwork, we'll make sure the finished product is the best it can be.
Our mechanical capabilities for design include:
- Complete Windows-based computer design systems,
- including AutoCad & High Technology Systems.
- Full T1 connection to the Internet for electronic data
- transfer and communications.

Screen Printing Capability
Screen printing is a very versatile printing technique. It is very effective for OEM labeling and applications for difficult environments requiring superior performance. Exco is equipped with state-of-the-art screen printing equipment and finishing capabilities. This investment is designed to produce close tolerance, fine detail and consistent quality for demanding applications.
- Thieme 520 clam shell (24" x 36" max image size)
- Thieme 3020 semi-automatic (24" x 42" max image size)
- ATMA CE710G semi-automatic (40" x 30" max image size)
Exco has both UV and conventional solvent-based ink capabilities. We have the ability to print tinted windows, textures, back lit windows, half tones and other difficult to print features. Exco is also able to use screen printing in conjunction with thermal transfer printing and hot stamp printing for unique designs and constructions

Color Matching Capability
- All color-matching personnel are certified using Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Color Test prior to working in color matching section.
- Color Matching is done with X-Rite Color Master Formulation software.
- Color Viewing is done on a Macbeth Spectra light II color viewing booth with a full complement of light sources.
- Color Density is monitored with an X-Rite Densitometer and Spectro-densitometer.
- Gloss Level is measured with a Gardner Micro-Tri-Gloss gloss meter utilizing a standard 60 degree angle.

Products Testing Capability
Exco have the ability to offer many tests, including UV resistance, abrasion, accelerated aging, and color fading in actual applications. We offer ASTM and PSTC adhesive testing for initial tack, shear, peel adhesion and release of adhesives. In addition we have available to us specialized high and low temperature environmental test capabilities including:
- Freezer: -60° C
- Cold Room: +35° F
- SAFT (Shear Adhesive Failure): +400° F
- Temperature/Humidity Chamber: +100° F/90% RH
Exco regularly conducts accelerated weatherization and aging tests. This includes UV resistance and color fade testing and evaluation. Our capabilities include SEM and other metallographic tests and reports to ASTM standards so that we can provide a full range of mechanical tests for products.

Finishing Capability
Exco has extensive finishing capabilities for all their printing processes. Some of these finishing processes are used in conjunction with products manufactured on more than one printing process.
